Ride along the coastline or into the island interior for a wider view of Bocas’ Isla Colón. Take a stop at a seaside restaurant for a fresh cold smoothie or ride to the Gruta Bat Cave for some beautiful formations and bats a’plenty! Your guide (me, @stacebird!) will be keeping her eye out for sloths, toucans and strawberry poison dart frogs while teaching about the fascinating tropical ecosystems we find ourselves in and and showing you around the beautiful Bocas del Toro archipelago!

This is a great way to get out into the wild coastline of Isla Colón, Bocas del Toro. The trip will include a stop where guests can order lunch with a beautiful ocean view. There is a great chance of viewing wildlife along the way including howler monkeys, montezuma’s oropendulas, sloths, agoutis to name a few. Contact me at stacebird@gmail.com WhatsApp +1 240 672 7363

Get a taste of the ride I took with IxaBikes, my dear friend Andrea who rented me bikes whenever I was in town for a bit back in ’18, ’19, I’d always go to Ixa’s for my bike rental and later to have my bike made and fixed by the famous bike mechanic Alfredo who since then has opened his own shop! Alfredo is what I love to call “my Bike Man”. We are good friends and he is well known throughout the community, as is Ixa. This day we went on a recon adventure out of town along the Caribbean coastline.
*This is a moderately to advanced strenuous adventure with hills and some road riding as we head out of town.
Cost for bicycle rental ($30/pp), and a $80-100/pp guide fee dependent on half or full day trip. Gratuity not included.
Don’t Forget!
Be sure to bring: sunscreen, water bottle, camera, binoculars, rain jacket, close-toed shoes, sun hat.
Provided: Binoculars, extra water, large trash bag for gear if it rains.
